    Applications are CLOSED for 2024! Each summer we host an enriching experience with our City Impact Summer Internships, where you'll collaborate with three non-profits doing good in the neighborhood: Youthfront Neighborhood, The Hub Argentine, & Immanuel Community Outreach Association.   • Judd Jones Scholar Intern

    The Judd Jones Scholar Intern is a student at Saint Paul School of Theology of any denominational affiliation and who is residing in the Kansas City area. The recipient has the opportunity to participate in the following aspects of ministry: pastoral care, outreach, community organizing, evangelism, administration, teaching and learning, and program development. Applications open each February through Saint Paul School of Theology and the internship runs August-May annually.

Why become a summer intern?

You will live, sere and learn alongside other college students in a diverse neighborhood in Kansas City, KS. You will get experience learning about the intersections of nonprofit work and ministry and how to practice Asset Based Community Development. You will also make friends for live and learn a lot about yourself in the process.

What will I do as an intern?

You and your team will help facilitate a day camp for local kids, assist in a youth social entrepreneurship program, serve with local food pantries, community gardens, build relationships with neighbors and members of the community, and so much more! You will build the hard and soft skills for all types of professions after college as well.
